Getting to the ferry: You can take the R train (Yellow Line)) to Whitehall Street or 3 train (Red Line) to South Ferry Station, then walk East to the Ferry Terminal. Keep in mind Liberty Island itself is free, but you do have to purchase the ticket to board the Ferry. Note: You can catch these trains at either the Times Square, 34th Street, or the 14th Street Subway stations. Remember to go on the Brooklyn bound train. |
